FAQ Guide
Welcome to the Clashables FAQ... your trusty scroll of answers in a kingdom full of chaos, creatures, and card combos. Whether you're a collector trying to work out why one of your cards is shinier than the others or a parent wondering if this is the game where your kid shouted “my vampire rides a dragon,"… we’ve got you covered!
So before you panic or send a pigeon to headquarters, take a peek below. Odds are the answer’s right here, and if it’s not, we’ll add it faster than you can roll a six. Ready? Scroll forth, brave clasher!
Q. How is Clashables different?
A. Clashables isn’t just another card game... it’s a chaotic, colourful, laugh-out-loud clash-fest where frogs can fly, vampires roll dice, and zombies accidentally win tournaments. With super quick setup, 30-card decks, and simple dice-based combat, it’s fast to learn but full of clever combos and wild moments. Plus, the artwork is bold, the creatures are ridiculous, and the tone? Let’s just say this isn’t a game that takes itself too seriously, and that’s exactly the point.
Q. What does 'no rotation' and 'no mana screw' mean?
A. “No rotation” means your cards never get kicked out of play just because a new set comes out. If you love a card from set one, you can keep using it forever... no expiry dates and no heartbreak. And “no mana screw”? That’s game slang for when you can’t play anything because you're not drawing the right resources. In Clashables, there’s no mana system at all... just pick two cards and play them each turn. No waiting around!
Q. I have a ruling question!
A. Awesome! That means things are getting juicy. Before summoning the royal rule wizards, take a peek at three magical scrolls on our website: the full game rules (for all the basics), the card interactions rulings page (for when cards get weird), and the event-specific rules (for tournament information). Chances are, your answer is hiding in one of those. If not, you can always send us a message... preferably by email, but carrier pigeons are also acceptable (just slower).
Q. What do the letters on the bottom of cards mean?
A. The two-letter codes are an accessibility feature, and they're there to help people who might be colour blind to identify what colour and kind of card each card is. BC stands for blue creature, GC for green creature, RC for red creature and YC for yellow creature. Spell cards are identified with the code SP.
Q. How does card rarity work in Clashables?
A. Great question!
Q. Do you run tournaments or events?
A. Yes, we do... and they’re as wild as you’d expect! Clashables events range from casual learn-to-play nights and community game sessions to full-blown organised play tournaments where players can battle to qualify for the World Championship. Local stores can host events using our free kits packed with promo cards and prizes, and there’s always something happening. Check out the upcoming events page to find one near you.
Q. Can I become an official Clashables Ambassador?
A. You sure can! If you love the game and want to help run events at your local store and grow the game, check out our ambassador program page for more information. Perks include exclusive promo cards, swag, and eternal glory!
